Board and Committee Meetings
The Board meets at least once each quarter and may meet more often as necessary. The meetings are held for the Board to make decisions on various policy issues. The Board reviews, revises, ratifies, or rejects recommendations and decisions made by the Board's committees and staff. The Board also has several committees and task forces which meet as needed.
All of the meetings are held in California and are open to the public, except for closed sessions. Closed sessions are held to deliberate decisions in disciplinary proceedings; prepare, approve, grade, or administer examinations; address pending litigation; and consider personnel matters.
Listed below are the upcoming Board and committee meetings. Meeting notices are available for viewing by clicking on the meeting and are provided 10 days prior to the date of the meeting. The meeting facilities for Board and committee meetings are accessible to the physically disabled.
