Rules of Conduct
The rules of professional conduct for California architects were adopted under Title 16, California Code of Regulations section 160. The Board adopted these rules to protect the public by setting out areas of behavior for which an architect risks being disciplined. Architects are required to comply with these rules covering competency, misconduct, conflict of interest, full disclosure, and copyright infringement. The actual regulatory language is available on page 66 to 68 (68 to 70 of the file) of the Architects Practice Act.
